Q. What is domain name registration?
A: Domain name registration is the term used for registering your website name on World wide web just similar to registration of your Organizations name in any Registration Authority. By registering Internet domain name, your web viewers can just type in your domain name (www.domain.com) each time they want visit your site.
Q. What domain name should I choose?
A: We recommend that you choose a domain name that corresponds to your existing or future business name. Choose an easy-to-remember domain name. Make it short and easy. Think on how you want people to remember your Internet address.
Q. Who owns the domain name?
A: Domain name registration ensures that all the rights of your domain name remains with you. We do not take over domain names from our customers. You have the complete rights and control over your domain name.
Q. What are the supported characters in a domain name?
A: Only alphabetic characters A-Z, numeric characters 0-9 and dash (-) are supported in a fully qualified domain name.
Q. What is the maximum number of characters in a domain name?
A: Theoretically speaking there is no limit on characters you can use in your domain name but practically you must nor select a domain name more than 18 words.
Q. How do I renew my domains?
A: Login to your account by providing your account details or alternatively you can ask us for renewal.
Q. What happens if I don't renew my domains?
A: 40-days before your domain(s) expire Deore Consultancy Services will send notices reminding you to renew them. The exact expiration date can be seen in your account. If the domain expires it may still be maintained in the registration database for a 30-day period where it can be renewed at the normal price.
Note - Some domains may not make it to the grace period if they are purchased by a third party. Be sure to renew your domains before they enter grace status.
